Rose Route

The Rose Route and the World Heritage Path of large, pale granite slabs and illuminated strips leads visitors from the Market Square directly to the World Heritage Churches and Cathedral Museum.
Visitors can trace the city’s 1,200 year-long history on the Rose Route, which is marked by little paving stones imprinted with a rose. The trail runs from the historic Market Square, past churches and historic buildings, into the half-timbered district and to the UNESCO World Heritage Churches.
A guide brochure for the Rose Route is available from Hildesheim Tourist Information and offers illuminating information about all the stations and contains a city map with detailed directions.
